Mysore is a tourism hot spot within the state of Karnataka and also acts as a base for other tourist places in the vicinity of the city. The city receives the maximum number of tourists during the period of the Dussherra festival when festivities take place for a period of 10 days.Mysore is known as the city of palaces because of large no. of palaces situated here.It gives us complete royal feeling while visit these palaces.Now some are converted into hotels,art of galleries and so on.Its really a chance to admire Indian beauty.

Pondicherry and Mahabalipuram

Mahabalipuram is a small village on outskirts of Chennai (India) but it is an important tourist destination because of several ancient temples situated here. Most of these temples have been built out of single rocks and that fact adds to awe one gets from visiting them.



Pondycherry (Pudducherry) is a union territory of india situated within state of Tamil Nadu. It used to be a portugal colony and the portugese influence can be seen all over the place in its architecture and design. this place is also famous for Aurbindo Ashram which provides lots of opportunities for spiritual activity and meditation.
